I predominantly work remotely, therefore I’m happy to work with clients from anywhere in the world.
Many tests can be completed worldwide and couriered back to the lab if this is required, and supplements can be shipped abroad too.
I'm happy to have a 20 minute introductory call before deciding to work together, to make sure I am the right person to help you, and for you to find out a little more about working with me.
Book discovery callCan I work with you if I'm on long term antibiotics?
Yes absolutely. In this field, many clients will be on antibiotics and can benefit from bespoke dietary plans to help keep the body functioning well under the circumstances. If your ambition is to come off the medicine, I can support you alongside your primary Doctor to help the body make the transition and use foods and possibly supplements to best facilitate this change.
Do you work with couples trying to conceive?
It depends. I recommend a 20 minute chat so I can see what your situation is.
I can work with women to understand whether their intimate health (vaginal health) is supportive of a pregnancy or not. This is one step on the fertility journey and its hugely important. I can also investigate whether other aspects of the body are supportive of conception e.g. thyroid, hormone levels, nutrient levels etc, and support any imbalances I feel are important. I can recommend appropriate testing and supplements.
I don’t work with couples undergoing IVF; this is a very specialist area and I would recommend a specialist IVF practitioner.
Can I work with you if I’m on HRT?
Absolutely. Hormone replacement therapy may be helping you with menopause related symptoms and can be a useful intervention in specific cases. However, if you feel your diet and lifestyle could be better and want personalised recommendations I can help. Managing menopause can take a multifaceted approach - diet, lifestyle, a healthy gut, low stress, regular exercise, good sleep etc; HRT may be just one of the ‘tools’ which will help you, but should not be viewed as the only intervention you can make. I can offer local / topical support for the vaginal area too which can be very effective.
Do you support women in pregnancy who may have issues with vaginal health? e.g. BV, yeast overgrowth.
Yes. It's often a very good idea to sort any vaginal issues out during pregnancy for the health of the body and to reduce the risk of pre-term labour. There are many safe routes we can look at to support the vaginal microbiome, and of course will work alongside any allopathic treatment you may be having or considering.
Do you liaise with my GP if needed?
Yes, I'm a complementary therapist, not an alternative therapist. I will always consider your medical plan alongside my dietary plans. If I feel it's beneficial, I can write to your GP requesting specific tests which may give us more information about certain symptoms, and I'm always keen to review any tests performed already in case it influences my plan. Moreover, if we carry out any private testing, I can share the results with your GP in case it impacts your treatment plan.
